Runner was resting & thinking, when his smartphone rang. This time he felt strangely compelled to not ignore - not every call was safe to answer, as experience told him.
'Run your software, Lightrunner' - it was Hue's voice.
'What's happening?'
'Entropic attack confirmed, in union with Prime & Time'.
'i'll try.'
'We need analysis mostly, so we can know where to start'.
Rest of a talk was hurried & trivial - she said she's fine, nothing really new, apologized for a time rush - then call ended with a short 'bye'.
His computer was not so technologically advanced - or even modern - as one could expect from a Virtual Adept. He was not so rich, besides - optimal software can work wonders, can squeeze every cycle of processor's time & run on a small memory, as well. This is much more than having fast computer, but work-effort required is immense, often can outlast many a lifetime. He did best what he could, anyway.
He launched operating system, integrated development environment, and finally his code. AI managed provided him reports of a 'time barrier', 'event precondition', 'paradox subversion' & a 'prime transfer' first. It used words he could understand, at least.
EVENT PRECONDITION, REALITY.
'Arise through the force of conditions'.

Idappaccayatā is a Buddhist term that is translated as 'specific conditionality' or 'this/that conditionality'. It refers to the principal of causality–that all things arise and exist due to certain causes (or conditions), and cease once these causes (or conditions) are removed. This principle is expressed in the following simple formula that is repeated hundreds of times in the Buddhist discourses:
'When this is, that is.
From the arising of this comes the arising of that.
When this isn't, that isn't.
From the cessation of this comes the cessation of that.'
Idappaccayatā (specific conditionality), as expressed in the above formula, is identified as a key expression of the doctrine of pratītyasamutpāda (interdependent origination).

For as long as preconditions of a Reality Aspect(s) hold, that Aspect(s) of Reality exist.
When these preconditions cease to hold, that Aspect(s) of Reality cease to exist, unless there are other Reality Aspect's preconditions that act as 'replacements'.
Certain Aspects of Reality might also be preconditions of other Reality's Aspects, or might be preconditions of other Reality's Aspects' demise.
TIME BARRIER, BIRTH, THE.
Occurance of a certain reality event depends on reality aspects' preconditions.
For a birth to occur, a pair must have a sexual intercourse, for example. Other preconditions must also occur - for example, mother must live until birth.
When something important occurs in history, reality barriers form - fuelled by wishes & prayers of countless beings. These barriers protect these events occurances from magickal tampering, any attack is met with paradox & other resistance.
When barriers cease to hold, preconditions of event occurance are vulnerable to be changed, either magickally or through other ways.

PRIME TRANSFER, TIME-OBJECTIVE, BELIEF, THE
The 'Prime Transfer' attack on a 'time-objective' is about instilling faith in a space-time object, often a group of beings & places. Combined with entropic degradation, it 'washes away' current beliefs & faiths, then instills a faith & dogmas represented by the Prime Energy.
The Spiritual World changes, then Physical Reality follows - resulting a reality change in conform with will, but exact way seems not determined nor important.
For example - for interrested parties it might not matter so much if A. Einstein discovered a power of atom split, or if it was another scientist. Either way, this scientific discovery is made. This way, time-assassins won't stop the change, even if they kill that scientist, for another one will do his deed instead, led by Prime-instilled faith & needs of the people.
PARADOX SUBVERSION, THE
A phenomenon of the Time Attacks on larger scale.
It's observed that after a Time-Objective attack & belief change of many, the paradox forces seem to cooperate with attackers for a while, then turn against them slightly weaker.
After reading the reports, Netlight Runner sent emails to his chantry, starting from Hue.

Soon after he got idea about software upgrade - perhaps it should provide him mantras to speak instead of full reports. It's probably better & safer that way. After speaking mantras, thoughts & feelings arise in mind - giving a better results than a physical-sensor-limited AI could ever provide.
